Ilka Andre & Co opened in Parramatta in 2019 — After a few years of trading, Ilka recognised how unavailable and how much demand there was for low-tox products and services.
By 2021, she developed the No Bleach Balayage (NBB) formula, and it was only then — looking back — that she realised the salon had quietly been low-tox for years, well before either product had a name. Both the JH&SO and NBB started the same way: an in-salon service clients loved so much, it eventually had to be bottled.
Our signature service is No Bleach Balayage (NBB) — an in-house formula developed by Ilka that lightens hair a few shades without a trace of bleach. You get that soft, shiny, sun-kissed lift with none of the damage, plus a seamless grow-out so you're not chasing your roots every six weeks.
